We provide a variety of approved materials and wellbeing services to support people affected by cancer. Whether you're newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or adjusting to life after cancer, our resources are here to help improve your overall health and wellbeing.

Who we care for

  • People affected by cancer receiving care at Canberra Health Services.
  • Patients undergoing surgery at Canberra Health Services or treatment at the Canberra Region Cancer Centre.
  • Individuals who have completed treatment within the last five years.
  • Families and carers of patients.

ACT Cancer Council’s Cancer Services Directory

A directory of support services for people affected by cancer in the ACT.

Cancer Information Lounge

A quiet, welcoming space on Level 2, Building 19 where you can browse booklets and flyers on:

  • cancer types
  • health & wellbeing
  • accommodation options
  • immunology & palliative care.

All materials are from approved providers.

A place to relax & recharge

Located on Level 2 of the Canberra Region Cancer Centre (Building 19, Canberra Hospital).

  • Patient Lounge - A peaceful retreat for patients.
  • Sleeping Pods - 20-minute rest pods with adjustable settings (no booking needed).

Where this service is located

Building 19, Level 2 in the Canberra Region Cancer Centre, which is between the multi storey car park and the main hospital building.

We have directions to the Canberra Region Cancer Centre and Canberra Hospital.
