Canberra Health Services has more than 35 distinct allied health professions in a range of tertiary health service settings.

Education

As a teaching hospital aligned with the University of Canberra and Australian National University, Australian Catholic University, we place a strong emphasis on education and research.

We provide support for clinical and interprofessional education, learning and development opportunities for allied health team members. We also have a range of informal/teaching on-the-run opportunities, as well as formal education opportunities such as:

Research

We are committed to providing exceptional health care. To improve the care we deliver, we have a strong focus on quality improvement activities and research.

Our aim is to support and grow the research capacity across our allied health workforce. We have a conjoint Professor of Allied Health position linked with the University of Canberra and an established Allied Health Research Network to foster a shared vision for research and build a culture of research across CHS.
