It can be helpful to gather information about the supports you need when preparing for your NDIS planning meeting.

We can help you gather this information if you are a current client of one of our services. Please contact us for help:

We can’t provide specific information if you’re not a current patient of our fee for service areas, or if you’re on a waiting list.

The following general information might be useful when preparing for your NDIS planning meeting.

  1. Identify devices you currently have and ensure funding for minor and major repairs are built into your plan.
  2. If you have ongoing costs for consumables (eg, liners or shrinkers) ensure this is built into your plan.
  3. If you have low cost assistive technology that is likely to require replacing, ensure this is built into your plan.
  4. If you have high cost assistive technology that is likely to require replacing in the next year, ask your prosthetics and orthotics clinician to give you a quote. Ensure that the need is identified and built into your plan as a quotable cost.
  5. Consider if you are likely to need a review by a prosthetics and orthotics clinician in the next year. If so, you will need to ensure clinical time is built into your plan. For a change or upgrade of device you should allow approximately 10 hours of clinical time to enable an assessment, development of recommendations and provision of a report.
