If you are unfamiliar with the University of Canberra Hospital, please ask our team at the main reception for help. We welcome any enquiry and will help you find your way around.
Our rehabilitation wing has carefully designed therapy courtyards. This includes areas designed around learning activities for daily living, such as using stairs, or getting in and out of a car.
There are four therapeutic gyms where physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other allied health therapists work with patients to guide their recovery.
We also have a hydrotherapy pool which has specialised equipment like the Pelican, which allows patients who have difficulty entering the pool to do so. If suitable, hydrotherapy will be used alongside your other therapy to help your recovery.
The University of Canberra Hospital Mental Health wing is for both inpatients and day patients.
Inpatients staying at University of Canberra Hospital will have an individual room with an ensuite bathroom, alongside shared kitchens and living areas, all aimed at enhancing recovery.
