Visiting hours are currently affected by COVID-19, please check the current visitor restrictions before coming to the hospital.
Parents, guardians and carers are welcome to the unit at any time, however, contact prior to visiting is recommended.
General visiting hours are:
Weekdays:
- 4pm - 8pm
Weekends and public holidays:
- 8am - 8pm
We will let you know when someone is here to visit you.
You have the right to refuse a visitor. If you refuse a visit and your visitor is distressed by this refusal, they may like to speak with a staff member.
Visiting hours are timed to allow you to participate in the therapeutic program. If these times are not suitable, please speak with us to make other arrangements.
Visitors need to speak with us before their visit if they plan to bring children under 16 to the unit. Family and child friendly spaces are available. Children must be supervised at all times.
Phone calls
Family and friends are welcome to call the hospital switch board on (02) 5124 0000 between 10am and 8pm (seven days per week). Your loved ones should ask the switchboard to put them through to the unit you are in so they can speak with you and/or our staff.
Support
Support is available for your family members and/or carers during your stay to offer support and links to other services. Please let us know if your family members and/or carers would like to speak with a social worker.
