We have information about clean hands, stopping the spread of infection, pressure injuries, medications and preventing falls.

It's OK to speak up!

If you:

  • Don’t understand something, it’s OK to ask us to explain.
  • Think we might have you confused with someone else, it’s OK to check with us.
  • Didn’t see us wash our hands, it’s OK to ask us to.
  • Think we might be giving you the wrong medicine, it’s OK to ask us to check.
  • Think you might be having side effects from your medicine, it’s OK to tell us.
  • Are in pain, it’s OK to ask us for pain relief.
  • Would like a second opinion, it’s OK to ask for one.
  • Would like some written information about your condition, it’s OK to ask us for some.
  • Want us to talk to your family or carer, it’s OK to ask us to.
