Visiting hours are currently affected by COVID-19, please check the current visitor restrictions before coming to the hospital.

Main reception is open from 7am to 8:30pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 7pm weekends and public holidays (not including Christmas).

Visiting hours for the Stromlo, Namadgi, Cotter and Majura units are 6am to 9pm every day.

Visiting hours for the Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit are based on the timetable for the therapeutic programs and are different. Call the switchboard on (02) 5124 0000 to ask about visiting.

For access after-hours please use the intercom at the front door to call security.

We may ask your visitor to come back later if they arrive when you are resting, having therapy or having a procedure.

Our staff will always ask you if you are happy for us to discuss your care in front of your visitors. You may prefer your visitors to step out before we talk to you about test results or do a procedure.

You have the right to choose who can visit you. If you don’t want someone to visit and you need help talk to your nurse about getting help with this. Our staff will support you and your decision.
