Service Funding Agreement

The Service Funding Agreement [PDF 582kB] sets out how Canberra Health Services will be funded and held accountable in 2025–26 to deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-focused care. It supports transparency and ensures services meet community needs, in line with national health reforms.

Committees

CHS Network Executive Committee

Our CHS Network Executive Committee oversees our strategic direction and ensures we are delivering on our goal of creating exceptional health care together.

Strategic Advisory Committee

Our CHS Strategic Advisory Committee will provide advice to the CEO and report to the Minister on matters related to the organisation’s strategic direction and performance and other matters that may be referred for advice.

Audit and Risk Management Committee

Our Audit and Risk Sub-Committee ensures we meet our governance, compliance and risk management responsibilities according to legislation.

Consumer and Carer Advisory Committee

Our Consumer and Carer Committee provides advice to CHS on the quality and safety of health care provided by CHS. This includes providing consumer and carer perspectives on the experience of care as well as planning, design, delivery, measurement, and evaluation of health care.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Steering Committee

Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Steering Committee oversees the development and implementation of initiatives relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members and consumers to improve access to our services and health outcomes and experiences.

Canberra Hospital Operations Committee

The Canberra Hospital Operations Committee supports operation of Canberra Hospital and has oversight of the delivery of clinical services including delivery of agreed health service operational plan.

Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services (MHJHADS) Governance Committee

The MHJHADS Governance Committee assumes divisional leadership responsibilities aimed at realising the vision, role, and values of Canberra Health Services (CHS). This committee also focuses on overseeing the effective execution of strategic priorities.

North Canberra Hospital Operations Committee

The North Canberra Hospital Operations Committee is responsible for the operational, business and strategic leadership and management of North Canberra Hospital, including delivery of clinical services.
