Committees
CHS Network Executive Committee
Our CHS Network Executive Committee oversees our strategic direction and ensures we are delivering on our goal of creating exceptional health care together.
CHS Network Operations Committee
Our CHS Network Operations Committee supports operation of the health services within Canberra Health Services including delivery of our operational plan and other strategic priorities as set by CHS Network Executive Committee.
Strategic Advisory Committee
Our CHS Strategic Advisory Committee will provide advice to the CEO and report to the Minister on matters related to the organisation’s strategic direction and performance and other matters that may be referred for advice.
Audit and Risk Management Committee
Our Audit and Risk Sub-Committee ensures we meet our governance, compliance and risk management responsibilities according to legislation.
Consumer and Carer Advisory Committee
Our Consumer and Carer Committee provides advice to CHS on the quality and safety of health care provided by CHS. This includes providing consumer and carer perspectives on the experience of care as well as planning, design, delivery, measurement, and evaluation of health care.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Steering Committee
Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Steering Committee oversees the development and implementation of initiatives relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members and consumers to improve access to our services and health outcomes and experiences.
Canberra Hospital Operations Committee
The Canberra Hospital Operations Committee supports operation of Canberra Hospital and has oversight of the delivery of clinical services including delivery of agreed health service operational plan.
Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services Governance Committee
The MHJHADS (Mental Health, Justice Health, and Alcohol and Drug Services) Governance Committee assumes divisional leadership responsibilities aimed at realising the vision, role, and values of Canberra Health Services (CHS). This committee also focuses on overseeing the effective execution of strategic priorities.
North Canberra Hospital Executive Strategy and Planning Committee
The Executive Committee Strategy and Planning is responsible for the operational, business and strategic leadership and management of North Canberra Hospital.
North Canberra Hospital Executive Performance and Operations Committee
The Executive Committee - Performance is responsible for the operational performance of North Canberra Hospital.
