We provide rehabilitation for anyone who has experienced a recent change in their ability to complete their work-based activities because of a medical or health condition, or disability.
About this service
The vocational assessment and rehabilitation service helps you to engage in work or study related activities following a recent change in your ability as a result of a medical or health condition, or a disability.
We do this by providing therapy or identifying different ways your work or study can be completed. We work with you and your employer or study organisation to support you in your place of work or study until you are as independent and successful as possible.
This rehabilitation is mainly provided by Occupational Therapists but could include working with a variety of health professionals.
Vocational Rehabilitation can include assisting you to find alternate activities to undertake if you are no longer able to return to work or study.
We are not able to assist you to find work or alternate work if you are no longer able to work in your previous role. Instead, we will support you to access other services designed to help you with these activities.

- Who live in the ACT (people who live in NSW and who require multi-disciplinary rehabilitation may be eligible in some cases)
- who are aged 16 years or over
