About this service

We provide a 15 minute individual physiotherapy assessment and information session for people who have recently given birth.

We also provide a Mums and Bubs Physiotherapy service at Centenary Hospital for Women and Children, for assessment, information, exercise advice, early intervention and prevention for people who have given birth in the previous 12 months, as well as and infants under 12 months of age.

What to expect

A 15 minute bookable appointment with a women's health physiotherapist. Appointments are available on Mondays and Fridays from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

What to bring to your appointment

  • Medicare card
  • Medicines you need to take while you are here
  • Previous x-ray films, scans, ultrasounds or any other test results or reports
  • Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in to your appointment

We are based at North Canberra Hospital (formerly Calvary Public Hospital Bruce), Physiotherapy Outpatient Reception, Level 2, Marian Building (off Madeleine’s Cafe lounge).

We have directions to North Canberra Hospital.
