Foot Sure is a small face-to-face group program where you will learn about foot health problems, how to look after your feet and choose good footwear.

About this service

Foot Sure is a free small group health promotion program run face-to-face in a once only 90-minute session.

The program is run by a Podiatry allied health assistant (AHA) and covers topics including:

  • common foot health problems
  • learning how to self-care for foot problems
  • education on choosing good footwear.

Who we care for

Our program is available for ACT residents over 18 years.

How to access this service

You can self-refer by calling the Central Health Intake (CHI) team on (02) 5124 9977 between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 3.30pm on Wednesdays.

What to expect

The Foot Sure program is run as a group session by a Podiatry Allied Health Assistant. These groups are held at both Gungahlin and Village Creek Community Health Centres.

The group session runs once for 90 minutes in a face-to-face group setting. There will be a presentation to the group, some activities to participate in, and examples of products and footwear that can help you to look after your feet.

Bookings can be made and confirmed through Central Health Intake.
