Position overview
The Organisational Development (OD) Unit is a specialist team within People and Culture focusing on improving organisational and team culture, increasing staff engagement, improving staff health and wellbeing, elevating leadership/management skills, and supporting change management to better enable CHS staff to provide high quality patient care/experience.
The Project and Wellbeing Officer will contribute to a range of meaningful and high impact initiatives by providing administrative and project support across multiple team priorities. These activities include supporting the CHS wellbeing program, internal consultancy, leadership programs, workplace survey engagement, and diversity and inclusion. This role will contribute to the achievement of CHS’s vision of delivering exceptional health care together by supporting initiatives that promote and enhance workforce wellbeing and organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities
Under day-to-day direct supervision from the Assistant Director OD, and overall team direction from the Senior Director and senior team members, you will provide high-quality project and administrative support to ensure the effective coordination and delivery of organisational development and wellbeing priorities including:
- Support the implementation of organisational culture initiatives and programs that promote staff engagement, inclusion and a positive workplace environment.
- Provide project and administrative support across all programs within the OD unit through effective collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and coordination.
- Develop and manage data collection, reporting, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes, inform decision making, and provide evidence-based recommendations for continuous improvements in consultation with program leads.
- Coordinate and provide secretariat support for employee networks including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes and managing communications.
- Manage the Organisational Development and other OD generic inboxes, acting as the central contact point for organisational development enquiries, information requests and feedback, ensuring timely, respectful, and customer-focused responses that support effective communication and service delivery.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operation of the OD team.

- Skills and experience in a project support or delivery role would be considered an advantage.

- Computer literacy skills are required as you will be expected to be a proficient user of the CHS Information Technology systems to be able to fulfil the requirements of this role.
