Each bed has a ward number, a room number and a bed number.

Staff stations

Each ward has a staff station. If you are visiting someone on the ward our staff at the station can help direct you to the right room.

Sitting areas

When visiting with family and friends please be considerate of all the patients in the room. There are public sitting areas outside the lifts on inpatient ward floors. Please be mindful of our current COVID restrictions.

Beverage bays

As well as our lounge areas, wards have tea and coffee beverage bay. Patients and visitors are welcome to use the bays to make a cup of tea or coffee – please be mindful of physical distancing. For safety we ask that hot drinks are not taken into patient rooms.

Breastfeeding Friendly

We are a Baby Friendly accredited Hospital. This means we promote and protect breastfeeding by following the WHO/UNICEF’s 10 Steps to Successful Breastfeeding. Whether you are a staff member, a patient or visitor, breastfeeding is welcome anywhere.
