We have many more people needing appointments than we have to offer, so we really appreciate you letting us know when you can’t attend.
If you do not attend your appointment without letting us know, or cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time:
- we will write to you and your GP to inform you that we have recorded your non-attendance
- you will have three months to contact us, let us know the reason for not attending and rebook your appointment
- you will be taken off the waiting list if we do not hear from you within three months of your missed appointment. This means you will require a new referral before seeking an outpatient appointment with Canberra Health Services.
