Visiting hours are currently affected by COVID-19, please check the current visitor restrictions before coming to the hospital.

Most visiting hours are 6am to 9pm every day.

However, when birthing your support person is welcome to attend at all times.

After birth, when staying on the ward, your primary support person is welcome to stay overnight if you are in a private room. If you’re in a shared room they’re welcome to visit during our usual visiting hours.

Some wards may have restrictions on visitors during these times. Please check with ward staff for further information.

Your treating team may ask your visitors to come back later if they arrive when you are resting, having therapy or having a procedure.

Our staff will always ask you if you are happy for us to discuss your care in front of your visitors. You may prefer your visitors to step out before we talk to you about test results or do a procedure.

You have the right to choose who can visit you. If you don’t want someone to visit and you need help talk to your nurse about getting help with this. Our staff will support you and your decision.
