In a life threatening emergency dial Triple Zero (000)

If you’re considering a low intervention, natural and active approach to pregnancy and birth, continuity of care through Continuity Midwifery at the birth centre may be for you.

You’ll get to build up a relationship with a known midwife or a small team of midwives who will take care of you during your pregnancy, labour, birth and after you’ve had your baby.

The allocated midwife, or a midwife from the team, will provide care throughout your pregnancy and is on-call for labour and birth, planning to occur in the Birth Centre. Early discharge is encouraged for well women and their babies.

Following discharge from the hospital, a midwife will visit you at home.
