Getting a flu vaccine every year is the best way to protect your child from catching the flu

Influenza (the flu) can make young children very sick, even if they are normally healthy. Getting a flu vaccine every year is the best way to protect your child from catching the flu and passing it on to others.

Children aged 6 months to under 5 years can get a free flu vaccine at our Early Childhood Immunisation clinics. To make it easier for families, we are running free extended hours flu vaccine clinics for children aged 6 months to under 5 years on Saturdays during May and June.
