How to access this service
You need a referral from your GP, paediatrician or other specialist to access this service. Once we receive your referral, we’ll determine your eligibility and clinic priority, then contact you to book an appointment.
If you need to contact us, call (02) 5124 8444.
What to expect
If your child’s condition fits our clinic referral criteria, you will receive a letter to confirm your appointment time and special preparations that might be required.
An appointment in the Paediatric Allergy Clinic may last several hours with the consultation and allergy testing, as well as an observation period after allergy testing.
Oral antihistamines should be avoided for 5 days before the appointment to allow for skin prick testing to occur. If oral antihistamines are needed within this time frame, please contact the clinic for advice about whether the appointment should be rescheduled.
