About this service
Our Occupational Therapists work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping with a wide range of conditions including:
- Palliative care
- Post-orthopaedic surgery
- Progressive neurological conditions
- Recovery from trauma
- Rehabilitation
- Stroke rehabilitation
Our Occupational Therapists are focused on helping you maintain your independence, mobility and safety after you leave Hospital.

What to expect
We’ll look at your home and work with you and your family to find the right equipment and suggest minor modifications to make life easier.
We can also organise for minor work to be completed and can give you access to any necessary equipment. All equipment can be trialled, borrowed and purchased.
What to bring to your appointment
- Medicare card
- Any letters or correspondence from your GP
- Medicines you need to take while you are here
- List of medicines you are currently taking (or the boxes), including medicines you have brought without a prescription, such as herbal supplements and vitamins
- Previous x-ray films, scans, ultrasounds or any other test results or reports
