About this service
The Toll SouthCare helicopter is the main rescue helicopter for the ACT and Greater Southern New South Wales.
The Toll SouthCare Helicopter is one of eight identical aircraft that provide rescue and retrieval functions.
Our Capital Region Retrieval Service team also undertakes a small number of road retrievals in ACT and New South Wales.
Who we care for
Through their work on the helicopter, our Capital Region Retrieval Service brings expert medical care to people in need.
This includes:
- helping trauma patients, such as those who have been in car accidents
- transferring people from regional hospitals to Canberra Hospital.
Our Capital Region Retrieval Service helps people from across the ACT and Southern NSW; from Wagga to Bega, and the Snowy Mountains to the South Coast.
