What does the Childrens Asthma Education Service do?

We see children from 0 to 18 years of age with wheeze and asthma.

We help:

• Children, young people, and families understand wheeze and asthma, Asthma First Aid, how asthma medicines work and how to use them.
• Children learn the signs that their asthma is getting worse and when to use their medication.
• Young people with asthma to live healthy lives.

The Children’s Asthma Education Service is free.

What happens at the appointment?

You will have a one-on-one appointment with a Nurse Asthma Educator at your local community health centre.
