Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Senior Director is responsible for coordinating, driving and delivering work to support the Deputy CEO. The position will work closely with a range of stakeholders and provide high level project and strategic support. To be successful, you will be a consummate professional, be confident with a fast-paced work environment, be adaptable and responsive, be able to quickly acquire knowledge and understanding of situations and subject matter and cultivate productive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following.

  1. Support the work and priorities for the Deputy CEO.
  2. Utilise project, stakeholder and change management strategies to drive outcomes on behalf of the DCEO.
  3. Undertake research, develop documents and provide high level advice to the DCEO on strategic, administrative and operational matters.
  4. Contribute to the development, implementation and review of policies and programs related to the division.
  5. Prepare presentations and data reports.
  6. Manage the budget, administrative resourcing and related processes to ensure an effective and efficient division.
  7. Assist the DCEO in their role as the SERBIR, managing highly confidential information and processes.
  8. Undertake project work attend meetings on behalf of the DCEO.
  9. Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operation of the organisation.
