The Good, the Bad, the Ugly - Managing the Side Effects of Cancer Treatment

A panel discussion for consumers about all things related to dealing with the side effects of cancer treatment.

Description

Are you or someone you know, struggling with or worried about possible side effects of cancer treatment?

Come and hear our panel discussion on this topic led by members of the Cancer Supportive Care Team at the Canberra Region Cancer Centre.

The panel will discuss all things related to dealing with the side effects of cancer treatment. They will cover commonly asked questions regarding chemotherapy, radiation therapy and immunotherapy side effects including:

  • how to manage side effects if they occur
  • looking after your physical and mental wellbeing through diagnosis
  • navigating challenging emotions and
  • introducing the various support services available for cancer patients at the Canberra Region Cancer Centre.

There will also be the opportunity for a question-and-answer session at the end of the discussion, so please bring along your questions for the panel.
